Vocabulary:
belong: pertenecer
composed of: compuesta por.
call: llamar --> is called:se llama
In our school garden there are pepper, aubergine, tomato and potato plants. These vegetables belong to the family of Solanaceae (Solanáceas in Spanish)
You can also find melon and cucumber plants. Their family is called: Cucurbitaceae ( Cucurbitáceas in Spanish)
A third family in our garden is composed of two other delicious vegetables: peas and broad beans. They belong to the leguminous plants (Leguminosas in Spanish).
Finally and also very important and common used in our kitchens you can find onion and garlic plants, which belong to the family of Amaryllidaceae (Amarilidáceas in Spanish)
Now, we are ready to feed the Caterpillar! You can give him the vegetables that are growing in our school garden too ... You know: he is a really hungry caterpillar!
YUMMY, YUMMY! DELICIOUS!!
